Policies and Procedures

Our Online Community Rules

The online community and our virtual support meetings are designed to be a safe space where parents can connect, share struggles, and find resources for managing meltdowns. To keep it that way, we ask that everyone be respectful and positive in all posts and comments; absolutely no mean, negative, or attacking language is allowed. Also, please do not use the platform to promote or advertise any outside products or services. If you break these core rules, you risk being removed from the community and its resources immediately.


Our virtual support group runs on the same trust and respect. It is essential that you agree to confidentiality before attending: do not share any names, personal stories, or private details discussed in the meeting with anyone who was not present. Please take turns speaking so everyone gets a chance to share. 


Remember, if you or anyone else has an emergency during a meeting, call 911 for medical help or 988 for mental health help right away. You can find a more detailed breakdown of all rules, including how to find the meeting link, within the online platform itself.


Please review the Privacy and Confidentiality policies prior to attending the group.

Registered Nurse Practice Act and Scope of Practice

Oklahoma Nurse’s Practice Act


Information received by a registered nurses within J Atifa RN Support Services is within the scope of practice for a registered nurse and in compliance with the Oklahoma Nurse’s Practice Act. 


Registered Nurse Scope of Practice


Per the Oklahoma Nurse’s Practice Act, “Registered nursing” means the practice of the full scope of nursing which includes, but is not limited to: a. assessing the health status of individuals, families and groups, b. analyzing assessment data to determine nursing care needs, c. establishing goals to meet identified health care needs, d. planning a strategy of care, e. establishing priorities of nursing intervention to implement the strategy of care, f. implementing the strategy of care, g. delegating such tasks as may safely be performed by others, consistent with educational preparation and that do not conflict with the provisions of the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act, h. providing safe and effective nursing care rendered directly or indirectly, 2 i. evaluating responses to interventions, j. teaching the principles and practice of nursing, k. managing and supervising the practice of nursing, l. collaborating with other health professionals in the management of health care, m. performing additional nursing functions in accordance with knowledge and skills acquired beyond basic nursing preparation, and n. delegating those nursing tasks as defined in the rules of the Board that may be performed by an advanced unlicensed assistive person.

ANA Nurses Code of Ethics

American Nurses Association Code of Ethics


J Atifa RN Support Services LLC abides by the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics to ensure clients are treated equally and ethically. The nine provisions of the ANA Code of Ethics are briefly described below. The full code is available to read for free at Nursingworld.org. 

24-hour Cancellation Policy

We understand that unforeseen circumstances happen, and you may need to cancel or change an appointment with us.
 

In order to respect the time of our staff and allow other clients to schedule in a timely manner, we simply ask that you notify us of a cancellation or reschedule no less than 24 hours prior to the reservation.

This allows us ample time to fill the reservation should you need to cancel/reschedule your service.
 

Appointments that are cancelled or amended less than 24 hours prior to the start of your service, will result in a charge of 100% of the cost of service(s) you are reserved for. The fee will be charged to the credit card we have on the file that was used to secure your reservation.

No Show Policy

If scheduled services results in a no show you will be responsible for fees and 100% of the total amount due for services, and you can be serviced in the future if your service is rescheduled. You will be responsible for paying for services rescheduled.

Late Policy

If you are more than 15 minutes late for your service, without notification, you will need to reschedule your service and will be responsible for 100% of the cost of services for which you were scheduled.​

Methods of Payment Policy

 J Atifa RN Support Services LLC accepts online payments only using all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also accepted.  

Scheduling Services Policy

All services must be scheduled online only based on the availability presented. If you have any questions about which services to schedule you can email J Atifa RN Support Services LLC at jalelah@jatifarnsupportservices.com. 


You will receive a confirmation email and a follow up email with additional instructions, if needed prior to your service. You will also receive an email reminder and text message reminder 1 day prior to your scheduled service. If your booking IS NOT APPROVED due to circumstances such as a holiday or illness that may result in a change of availability you will receive confirmation of that change via email from J Atifa RN Support Services LLC.

Online Community Terms and Conditions

 

Welcome to our community! This document explains the rules for being a member of J Atifa RN Support Services. Please read these rules carefully. When you sign up and use our platform, you agree to follow everything written here.

1. Our Commitment and Mission

We are here to provide education and resources to families caring for children with Autism and other intellectual or developmental disabilities. Our goal is to help you navigate and minimize meltdowns and other emotional challenges.

The information we share is designed to be helpful, but it is not medical advice. Always talk to your child's doctor, therapist, or care team before making changes to their care plan.

2. Your Membership

A. Free Membership

  • It's Free: Your core membership for our support groups and resources is completely free.
  • Optional Paid Events: We may offer optional events, consultations, or premium resources (like detailed video tutorials) that cost money in the future. You never have to buy these things, and your Free Membership will continue even if you don't.
  • Accuracy: You promise that all the information you gave us when you signed up is correct.


B. Premium Membership

  • Separate Agreement: If you choose to upgrade to a Premium or Accessibility subscription, you will agree to a separate payment plan.
  • Canceling Your Subscription: You can cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel, you will stop being charged for the next period and your membership will automatically return to the Free Membership Tier.
  • No Refunds: We generally do not offer refunds on subscription fees, but we will always review special situations.

3. The Golden Rules: Conduct and Respect

This is a private, safe space. To keep it that way, you must follow these rules at all times:

  • Be Respectful: Treat everyone in the community—including other members and our team—with kindness and respect. We have a zero-tolerance policy for mean language, bullying, hate speech, or harassment.
  • Protect Privacy (The Most Important Rule): Do not share any information, stories, pictures, or posts from this private community with anyone outside the group. Protecting everyone's privacy is non-negotiable.
  • Stay Relevant: Posts and comments should be related to the mission of supporting families with children who have Autism or other intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • No Selling or Spam: Do not post ads, promotional links, surveys, or anything else to sell products or services.
  • No Sharing Accounts: Your membership is for you only. Do not share your login information with anyone else.

4. Content and Your Safety

  • Our Content: All resources, templates, guides, and videos we create (like the QOTM videos) belong to J Atifa RN Support Services. You cannot copy, share, or sell our content outside of this platform. You can, however, use the customized reports and plans you receive from a paid consultation to share with your child's care team.
  • Your Content: You own the information you post, but you give us permission to use it to run the community (for example, replying to your posts or moving a discussion to the right area).

5. What Happens if Rules are Broken (Enforcement)

We take the safety of our community seriously.

  • Warnings: For small rule breaks, we may give you a clear warning.
  • Immediate Removal: Breaking important rules, especially those about privacy, respect, or selling/spam, will lead to your immediate removal from the community. We do not have to give a warning before removing a member.
  • Final Decision: We have the final say on who stays in the community and who is removed.

Refund Policy

All services provided at J Atifa RN Support Services LLC are non-refundable. However, we will be more than happy to schedule a corrective service free of charge, if we determine it is needed.


The service must be an error from the service provider that can be validated with proper documentation. You have within 48 hours after the conclusion of services to contact J Atifa RN Support Services LLC in writing to notify us of the error to determine next steps or review for approval of corrective services. Corrective services will not be allowed after 48 hours past initial service date.
NO EXCEPTIONS!
